I will conquer you, TV world

I had this nutty idea in my hear 3 years ago that I was going to tackle 4 point perspective in a piece. I felt it was the only way I could pull off the wonk and otherwordly nature of Persona 4's TV world.

 Now I am going to finish what I started way back then.

It all returns to nothing

Tackling the Beast

Tonight I finally complete a piece that's been driving me insane for longer than I'd like to admit.

FLCL is my favorite anime, and as such I've been stressing over making a piece of art dedicated to it for years that would be fitting. Earlier this year I was working on the piece to the right, wasn't happy with it and  decided to scrap it.

Thanks to my friend Xavier who stepped in and gave me some needed critique and support I was able to finish the piece this evening. I am much, much happier with the result.

In the end, it was worth it not to give up.
